I'm so happy to announce that I have paid off 80% of my program fee! This is a great place to be, but I still have a little over $700 left, plus a plane ticket. It's been a struggle the past two semesters trying to balance work and school, but so far very worth it. I'd like to extend a huge thanks to the members of my family who have generously contributed so far, but now it's time to ask for a little extra help!
Beginning tomorrow, February 16, I will be holding a fundraiser through Yankee Candle. The sale will last two weeks, ending on March 1. Not only are Yankee Candles great smelling, great quality products, but they are now offering an online ordering option which makes it SO much easier for out-of-town family and friends to participate in the fundraiser.
I will post links, group number and more details tomorrow morning. I really appreciate the huge amount of support I've received from friends and family so far, and I look forward to sharing my experiences upon my return from Guatemala City. :)
